libunity-core-6.0-9 software package provides core library for the Unity interface, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libunity-core-6.0-9
libunity-core-6.0-9 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libunity-core-6.0-9 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libunity-core-6.0-9 *
